If you have been here before, you will notice major changes.

I AM NOW OFFERING MY ANCESTOR PORTRAITS AS OIL PAINTINGS
as well of giclee prints.

FOR OIL PAINTINGS
The first part of the process remains the same.
I begin work when I have received half the payment.
A further 25% will be due after your approval of the digital image.
The balance is due on approval of the final painting.
The price I charge varies with the requests of the client.
For instance,
There would be an extra charge to work with two or more subjects in the same painting.
I can add personal items to the portrait, such as favorite toys or items with special significance to the family.
In the past I have incorporated a family crest in others a brooch or a portrait in the background of the owner or a beloved, deceased pet.
I know that most artists have strict break-down of prices, but I do not work from a formula.
Every portrait is as different as the requests of the client and the character of the subject.
However here is a rough guide.

12x16 $650 / $850.
16x24 $850 / $ 1050.
24x35 $1,200.00 / $1,400.00
35x47 $1,400.00 / $1,600.00

I require the best available pictures of the subject.
Preferably high definition digital.
Paws when possible.
I would prefer to have at least one conversation with you before I begin work. It helps me a great deal to understand how you feel about your animal companions.

FOR GICLEE PRINTS
I begin work when I have received half the payment.
The balance will be due after your approval of the digital image,
Upon that approval I will take the file to be printed on the best fine-art paper.
