Devon Rex
Portrait of A Devon Rex.

This is the late, great GIZMO as Jaques Louis David might have painted her.

Dear Gizzy was about 20 years old when I made this portrait. She went on to live another 2 years and was the most amazing cat I ever encountered.

I also made a sepia portrait of her as Queen Victoria....

This cat was 'never amused' - But she was always amusing. Sometimes she would be posed so innocently in the sun, like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, when I would catch sight of the tip of a tell-tale feather, still trapped between her claws.

That little imp is illustrated in "The Little Duchess of Devon" again as Jaques Louis David might have envisioned her.
